• Can I get an update on how far along my rod is or when it will ship?

  "We are unable to provide precise updates on the progress or shipment dates due to the high volume of custom rod orders and the multiple stages involved in your custom rod build. Kindly refer to the Build Time you selected and calculate the workdays from the order date."

• What if I do not like the feel or look of my custom rod...can I return it for refund?

  "This is a unique creation crafted specifically for you. As a result, custom rods are ineligible for refunds or exchanges. Trey assures that you will be delighted with both the appearance and performance of your custom rod, surpassing any stock rods in every aspect."

• Why are custom rods more expensive than the stock models?

  Creating a custom rod takes twice as long, so the labor costs are twice as high. Our skilled craftsmen and women take pride in meticulously crafting your rod, ensuring that you receive exceptional quality with a custom Kistler Rod.

• How long will it take to build my Custom fishing rod and how will I know when it ships?

  Using your order date, we will use your selected build time, whether standard (4 weeks), priority (3 weeks), or rush (2 weeks), to determine your ship date. You will receive an email notification on the day we ship your rod.

• If I do not see exactly what I want as an option, can I make a special request to change or add a component, color thread, type of graphite, etc and will it change my total price?

  Yes, absolutely, we want to make your rod as unique as possible. There will be an up charge but we will contact you prior to proceeding with your build for approval and clarification.

• Why is the warranty only one year for my custom rod and stock rods get Limited Lifetime proration warranty?

• Will you guarantee to meet the specific Build Time I select so that I have my rod before my event?

  We will most likely ship your rod before the date of your Build Time selection; however, in some cases, if we are out of specific components or blanks, your rod build will be delayed. We are committed to keeping you informed about any delay, so you can make plans, change, or cancel the order.
